FEBRUARY 2018 LECTURE SERIES
天天色综合,天天干影视Georgia History Month is held each year during February and it is sponsored by the Georgia Historical Society. The Funk Heritage Center is a member of this organization and holds a lecture series each year on the topic of Georgia History. In February, 2018, three lectures are scheduled. Due to limited space, reservations are require. Admission is $10 for each lecture or $5 for members. Call 770-720-5967 for reservations.
Vince Dooley, historian and former UGA Athletic Director and Head Football Coach, will kick off the lecture series on Tuesday, February 6 at 2 p.m. He and his co-author Sam Thomas, will speak about their new book detailing the life of Lt. Col. William Gaston Delony who commanded one of the most storied military units of the Civil War. The book is The Legion's Fighting Bulldog and it will be followed by a book signing and refreshments.

Dr. George Lamplugh's lecture on Tuesday, February, 20, 2018 will be titled States Rights, Nullification of and Cherokee Removal. This is the final lecture in the series.
